Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
* Provide technical leadership and expertise in native, hybrid and cross platform application development on multiple platforms including iOS and Android.
* Drive best practices for development in terms of coding standards, design patterns and reusable components.
* Establish and maintain technology standards, explore, evaluate new technologies and contribute significantly to mobile solution innovation
* Lead the development of reusable libraries and frameworks that can help build vertical solutions for quick time-to-value
* Develop less-senior resources by mentoring, empowering, reviewing results, in technical areas
* Work with mobility practice and other stakeholders to develop enterprise mobility roadmaps based on a deep working knowledge of the mobility landscape, architecture trends and emerging technologies
* Work closely with development teams to ensure that the technology decisions are consistent with overall strategy.
Project Delivery
* Ensure the quality of architecture, Design and Code.
* Work with distributed teams for delivery and execution of Projects.
Execution
* Research and maintain solution architecture, technical design, tools and technology stack for mobile applications and related systems
* Develop and maintain mobile strategy with respect to mobile applications in coordination with client-side and native code architects
* Create documents that specify strategy, assessment, or design in a way that delivers obvious value to customers and is understandable by any stakeholder
* Research latest trends, strategies and emerging technologies for mobile applications and provide technical vision
* Develop and lead mobile application security standards
Required Skills / Experience
* Strong proven capability & track record in leading and cutting edge mobile project and strong knowledge in latest mobile communication protocol & implementation
* Hands-on application development and architecture experiences with one or more of the following mobile technologies: iOS, Android,
* Proven experience with various mobile services such as location, messaging, multi-media, etc.
* Experience in the design and delivery of cross platform mobile applications either through Hybrid or Native approaches and associated frameworks
* Understand customers business challenges/goals and arrive at value added Technology Solutions, define Technology direction and Roadmap
* Define the Architecture, Design Systems at the component level, make strategic technology choices, and directly supervise the quality of designs and implementation inside and between components
* Guide a team of Engineers - offshore and onsite in design and code and associated best practices.
* Have mastery of relevant technologies - including Proprietary languages
