Job Description:
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Work as lead programmer and client coordinator
* Instruct, assign, direct and checks the work of other software developers on development team.
* Plan and manage agile development sprints
* Perform code analysis and reviews.
* Assist on the design product solution architectures
* Research, test, build and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements
* Make detailed analysis and write technical specifications for the requested system / project features.
* Manage on-site and off-shore development teams.
* Interact with developers of projects' partners.
* Guide the resolution of implementation and post-implementation issues.
* Provide guidance on issues related to systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
* Assist on performing feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
* Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of third party application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
* Participates in development of software user manuals and ensure relevant technical documentation for projects is maintained as per standards.
Required Professional Skills
* At least 5+ years of overall experience on software development projects with at least 2 projects handled on-site through to deployment
* Excellent application system design and development skills
* Strong experience designing / developing with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer)
* Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment and learn new concepts / software technologies as needs arise
* Very strong SQL experience of writing complex queries and developing views (SQL server)
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, and a responsible team-player
* The ability to communicate effectively - both verbally and in writing.
* Practical experience in using any project management software and tools.
* Additionally experience in implementing middleware would be an advantage.
* Strong communication skills Formal exposure to SDLC techniques
* Specialized Skills:
* Formal training on SSAD / OOAD Techniques
* Formal training on UML skills
* Basic IIS Admin skills
* Expertise on MS-SQL Server including scripting, SSRS & BI Studio
* Data warehousing techniques
* Specific development skills on either C# /.NET / VB / ASP.NET / LAMP stack
