To be successful in this role, you must be able to do the following:
Primary Responsibilities:
*Write clean well thought out code with an emphasis on quality
*Consider customer's perspective and experiences when designing systems
*Apply engineering principles to solve complex problems through sound and creative engineering
*Quickly learn new engineering methods and incorporate them into your work processes
*Demonstrate the ability to deliver projects on time and at expected quality; also exhibit the ability to adapt to change
*Communicate effectively with other disciplines of the project team
*Responsible for understanding and adapting to new technologies, tools, methods and processes from Microsoft and industry
*Role Model Our Microsoft Values: through behaviors and actions, set an example and represent the Microsoft Values of leveraging others work and helping others to be successful
Minimum Requirements
*BTech/BE in Computer Science or equivalent
*8+ years of software engineering experiences building and shipping high performance and scalable systems and services
*5+ years of experience developing software using Microsoft technologies
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with a solid understanding of testing practices
*Enthusiastic, motivated and self-driven.
Design:
*Strong understanding and hand on experience in integration, SOA and UI patterns.
*Understanding of Enterprise scale technology and developing large scale out services.
*Ability to evaluate design & testing approaches (complexity, performance, high-availability, scalability, durability) and make recommendation for implementation
*Strong in Design Patterns
Hands on Exp:
*Strong in C#,.Net framework 3.5 or above
*Strong in Microsoft SQL Server-2008 or above
*Strong programming skill with ability to write optimized and reusable code.
*Strong in automation for Unit testing, Functional, Performance test, Continuous Integration
Preferred Requirements
*Experience working within a global delivery model
*Experience with OData, RESTful Services, HTML 5
*Understanding of Cloud Computing concepts and platforms
*Experience with DevOps model including but not limited to Continuous Delivery, Telemetry, Flighting/Experimentation, TDD, and Testing in Production
*Good understanding of agile development practices
*Experience with any of the following testing: security testing, privacy testing, accessibility testing, localization/globalization testing, etc.
