JD
Excellent Java and PHP skills. Very good knowledge of another programming language.
Strong Object Oriented development skills with Java, very good understanding of design patterns.
Very good unit testing skills (JUnit, mock libraries, unit testing techniques)
Knowledge of good development practices (TDD, principles and patterns, continuous integration)
Knowledge of J2EE specification ( mainly Servlet, JSPs and tag libraries)
Working knowledge of SpringMVC. Familiarity with different MVC frameworks (Spring Web Flow, Struts2, Play) is an advantage
Experience with different IoC containers (Spring, Guice etc.) a big plus
Weblogic, Clearcase, git a plus
Summary of the Role
a/ Overall Objective
The GPS team is focused on the development and maintenance of SEE frameworks and tools.
b/ Main Activities
Mentor team on best practices, design preparation and complex development
Perform code review& code review checklist, effort estimation
Support & enhance frameworks and tool
Help PM in the annual and mid-year appraisal process
Report the status to management and provide potential solutions in case of issues encountered
Analyze developers' requirements to provide new (or improve existing) features for GCS frameworks and tools.
Propose and design viable technical solutions and then deliver high quality, unit tested code.
Continuously seek better, simpler, faster and more efficient ways of developing code and increase team's productivity.
Produce necessary documentation (both technical and end-users targeted).
