Job description:
*Implemented SQL Server 2005 concepts like Data partitioning ,Snap shot Isolation, Database Mirroring, Database Snapshot, DDL triggers, try-cache blocks, Online indexing, SQLCMD and dedicated admin connection.
*Extensively used the native tools like index tuning wizard, data base tuning advisor, profiler, perfmon, activity monitor,
Event viewer for performance analysis.
*Experience in administrative activates comprising Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Client/Server Connectivity, and Database health Check, Indexing, Updating Statistics.
*Experience in Backing up, Restore the database manually and by Scheduled Jobs.*Configured Security SQL SERVER LEVEL by Creating Principals (logins) and Mapping users to roles.(Securable and Permissions).*Have good knowledge on 2014 SQL Server features such as In Memory OLTP engine, Column stored index, contained databases.
*Experience in using the DMVS, DMFS, SP_PROCS, INFORMATION_SCHEMA, and SYSTEM VIEWS AND in built GLOBAL VARIABLES for the instant analysis.
*Have good knowledge in advancements of MS SQL SERVER 2014.*Dexterous developer in creating Constraints, Defaults, Rules, Tables, Indexes, Views, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Cursors and Dynamic SQL queries.
*Performed BCP, BULK INSERT, Imported and Exported data from different Data Sources.
*Experience in logical and physical data modeling of the database in MSVISIO.
*Experience in Normalization, Database design, Performance Analysis and Production Support for very large (VLDB) and Complex Databases.
*Expertise in analyzing and estimating the Execution Plan for better Query Optimization.
*Extensively used Repositories like Team Foundation Server (TFS), Visual source safe and Clear Case for Data Archival.
*Handled multiple SQL Instances on Cluster environment for Server Consolidation projects built on SAN using RAID levels
*Extensively worked on different Data-cleansing techniques deduplication, validation.
*Deployed and Debugged SSIS packages for import, export and bulk insert data with transformations from various data sources.
*Experience in generating Reports (SSRS) in Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS).
Total years of Experience:
8 to 20 years.
