Exp required : Relevant 8 Years Job description: 8-10 Yrs Relevant Experience as Oracle DBA Oracle Architecture Oracle 10g, 11g databases on unix platform - Installation, setup, configuration, Administration and maintenance Oracle RAC installation, setup, configuration administration and maintenance for production & non-production environment Good knowledge of performance tuning and rapid response to address high severity incidents Good knowledge in solving production and pre-production issues, working on change, incidents, problems and working in a 24x7 support within SLA timings Be able to drive root cause analysis and resolution to closure independently and be able to analyse issues with Oracle tools like AWR, ADDM, OEM Database instance and query performance tuning Database backup, restore and recovery - User and server managed (RMAN and Netbackup or equivalent) - Good knowledge in RMAN Disaster recovery processes and tools - Physical standby setup, Dataguard, Storage level replication etc.. including setup and maintanance Good experience in database upgrades and patching Strong Oracle database technical skills across various UNIX and Linux platforms and good knowledge of Unix Knowledge of Scripting skills (SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX shell scripting) and automation Good knowledge of Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) Total years of Experience: 8 to 20 years.
