Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Aptean is seeking a Technical Lead to join our team in Bangalore. The TechnicalLead will be accountable for resolving complex problems that impact design success of at least one or more, current or developing products. The Lead will also lead the research, design, definition and implementation of software solutions based on architecture conceived.
Roles and Responsibilities:
*Understands Agile methodology and Product Development Lifecycle (design, coding, testing, Maintenance etc) *Contributes to successful delivery of a use case from conception to acceptance *Contributes to Estimating use cases during Release planning and estimating tasks during Iteration planning *Perform high-level and low-level designs given a set of functional requirements as a use case
*Proficient in coding with good quality, adhering to the prescribed standards/guidelines *Performs unit testing *Fixes customer problems (support incidents)
Works with QA, Doc and Product Specialists in the Agile team cohesively to deliver product releases efficiently
*As a developer in the Agile team, works towards success of the team *Takes part actively in design reviews and code reviews
*Mentors other members in the team for technical problems. May also work with multiple Agile teams as a consultant on technical challenges or design of complex stories
*Gains technical breadth in all areas of technologies required for the product team *Involved more towards building the design/architecture for complete solution, not just individual functional area
*Shares knowledge and collaborates within and outside the team using technical forums, seminars, presentations, etc
Primary Skills:
*ASP.Net, AJAX, C#, MS SQL Server, SSRS, Silverlight, MVC, HTML5 *Strong ASP.Net expertise, 8yrs and above experience

With regard to the online assessment, please find some general information/instructions:
* The assessment has two parts: an untimed Personality Profile and a timed (22 minute) Aptitude section.
* It should take you about 45 minutes to complete both portions of the assessment.
* Aptitude test consists of 50 questions and you would be required to answer in 22 minutes(timer limit)
* The areas covered included:
- Alphabetical series
- Graphical Series
- General English
- Basic Arithmetic
* Do not spend too much time on any one question(As you would be needed to complete all 50 questions to clear the aptitude test).
* There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
* You must answer each question before moving forward(You cannot toggle between questions).
* It is recommended that you move through the assessment at a steady to swift pace. Once you begin the assessment, it cannot be restarted or stopped.
