Should have experience in: * Server Integration Services and setting up Integration Service Catalog and usage (Database tables and permissions). * Control flow and data flow in BIDS and different tasks and their usage. * Create or modify packages. * Using DTS configuration file. * usage of event handler. * Deployment (Single package (using Integration Services instance) or the entire solution (using Integration Services catalog)). * Setting up SQL Server Agent job to trigger the package (manually or via schedule). * Invoking SQL Server Agent job from SQL stored procedure.Replication * Setting up SQL Server Merge replication (e.g. setting up articles, bidirectional or downloadonly, identity management, rowguidcol). * Metadata tables and different properties. * Conflict management and the usage of referential constraint, triggers in context of merge replication. * Replication monitor and manage subscriptions. * log shipping in the context of merge replication. * snapshot generation and publish schema (full or differential). * Limitation of sql dependency. * Services, messages and queues. * Different views involved to validate subscription. * Identify and clearing up not used subscriptions. * Different source, info and type and their usage using sql dependency using c#.database tuning * Index defragmentation (reorganize vs rebuild). * Statistics and how to update. * Activity monitor (e.g. Identify long running queries, kill queries, disk i o) * Database backup, transaction logs.
