Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is both an enterprise software solution as well as a key business strategy that collaborates and manages all of the critical product information and business processes that go into bringing successful products to market. PLM has matured to become a mission-critical system for successfully driving product development.
Imagine a first time Plan, Design, Engineer, Detail, Manufacture and Manage lifecycle management software implementation or another extreme of a global corporation with more than 20 acquisitions over a decade struggling to consolidate and manage their PLM strategy between own and acquired tools with tools at work like Teamcenter, DS, Windchill, Agile, SAP PLM, Aras and 80 different disconnected database systems like a subway map.
PROLIM aims to help such corporations accomplish their PLM business goals with strong PLM Technology R&D capabilities. A competent professional with 10- 15 years of experience in Product Life Cycle Management Services, Program Management, Pre-sales Operations, Key Account Management and Service Delivery Management
* Expert in building CoE through various POCs & client specific demos by cross integrating different technology and solutions (major one PLM ARAS/Siemen Teamcenter/Windchill/Dassault Enovia)
* Pivotal in interfacing with client at pre-sales stages for ensuring that company's services are considered against competitive offers
* Proficient in demonstrating proposals to clients, providing solution strategy (pre-sales) support encompassing briefing on client feedback
* Gained significant exposure in managing client facing roles in multi-cultural environment at different countries such as UK, USA & Europe
* Instrumental in managing various global engagements including distributed delivery model in international multicultural environment
* Expertise in conceptualizing solutions, services, process models & productized offerings as well as go-to-market initiatives & delivery strategy
* An effective communicator with good leadership, analytical, planning, interpersonal & problem solving skills
* Handling activities related to hiring, delivery, performance management, business development, sales/pre-sales functions
* Managing activities related to competency building including planning & execution of trainings to enhance performance of team members
* Planning delivery of programs in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization
* Defining service standards and guidelines that serve as benchmark for excellent service delivery; establishing service level agreements, evaluating risks, costs, resource requirements & schedules and submitting delivery opinions.
* Manage schedule, resource and risk of PLM projects to deliver project On-time with Quality adhering to Project Management Methodologies
* Owns the coordination and communication of project status with program team
* Define detailed project plan for Design, Development & Testing and production cutover activities
* Be the project change owner to control scope creep with appropriate impact analysis on schedule/effort
* Accountable for design , development and testing quality during tollgates
* Identify the Risks and communicate appropriate mitigation plans
* Involving the right folks during the technical discussions
* Responsible for On time Delivery of Design, Development, Testing & Deployment as per the plan
* Design and Mapping functional requirements and business process in PLM
* Serve as functional and technical analyst for Agile PLM system consisting of multiple modules
* Hands-On in one of the above major PLM technology.
* Excellent communication/presentation/facilitation skills (oral and written).
* Strong business process design and development experience.
* Must be detail-oriented and well organized.
* Self-motivated, team player that is task oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
* Experience managing multiple projects.
* Focus on system usability, training, and customer satisfaction.
* Ability to build and maintain cross-functional work relationships with internal/external customers.
Bachelor/Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
