Position 1: SQL DBA
Roles And Responsibilities:
* Database Administration in Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2005/2000 and providing production support for 24X7 high availability environments.
* Database Mirroring, Partitioning, Replication, and Log Shipping in MS SQL Server.2005/2008 Server installation & Migration
* Performance Monitoring and tuning of OLTP/OLAP database server and databases in MS SQL Server 2005/2008.
* Performance Monitoring using tools such as Quest Performance Analyser, Quest Spotlight, Litespeed, and others.
* Troubleshooting and Performance tuning of slow running Queries.
* Patching.
* DR test.
* Cluster Administration.
* Backup/restore.
* Creation/modification of logins.
* Backup restore tests on a weekly basis.
* Handling of space issues.
* Checking for instance availability
* Creation/handling of SQL jobse
Position 2: Oracle DBA
Roles And Responsibilities:
Ø Experience in Database Administration on Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g & 11g Versions with various platforms HP-Unix, AIX, Linux, Solaries and Windows.
Ø Managing the Calls like production Node, Domain controller down, File system corruption on production server and production major H/W failure.
Ø Database Installation, Upgrade, Patching on various platforms Unix & Windows.
Ø Strong Experience on RMAN Backup & Recovery.
Ø Strong Experience on User Managed Backup & Recovery(Cold, Hot,Export/Import)
Ø Strong Experience on RAC Troubleshooting, Node Eviction and maintenance
Ø Experience on Database Space Management, Undo Management and Projection
Ø DBA Activities on Platforms HP-UX, AIX, Linux, Solaries, Windows. Monitoring System Logs & Kernel Parameters
