The responsibility of the mobile IOS and Android Lead is to provide technology solutions for projects and daily support. The Lead ensures adherence to current standards and maintains a commitment to high quality development and implementations. This individual will provide technology expertise and guidance, remaining current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Responsibilities

o Mobile initiatives (enhancements or project): (not all inclusive)
o The mobile developer will be required to design, develop, test, document, deploy, support and sustain the mobile apps--iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows Mobile-- interface and libraries.
o Collaborate with UX for product definition and use cases
o Assist with defining technical and functional user stories
o Leadership and Teaming: (not all inclusive)
o Identifies and drives continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining work and improving support.
o Initiates activities and projects in order to support current and future business needs
o Identifies and implements opportunities for innovation and process improvement
o Customer Interaction skills: (not all inclusive)
o Ability to explain technical aspects of a solution to a non-technical audience
o Prepare and communicate status, issues, and opportunities to the business.
o Builds and maintains strong partnership with internal and external customers.
Qualifications
o Experience leading a team of developers in a fast paced Agile environment
o Strong experience working with business units to understand requirements and objectives
o Ability to break down business requirements into prioritized technical work
o Cross functional development with iOS and Android is desired.
o Experience and understanding of one or more major relational database management system.
o Strong mobile UI design and implementation experience, including prototyping
o Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration
o Test Driven Development (TDD)
o Experience and passion to work in a fast paced Agile environment, delivering functional features in small time durations
o Strong in depth knowledge in iOS SDK, device APIs, objective C (or) Android SDK, device APIs, Java
o Expertise in integrating with various back end services
o Expertise in developing custom widgets with flexibility and reusability in mind
o Expertise in Publishing mobile applications to Apple and Google app stores
o Expertise in XHTML/HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, JSTL, Ajax & JQuery
o Expertise with source control (SVN, Git)
o Good knowledge of HTML5/CSS 3
o Strong understanding of REST &SOAP
o Good knowledge of XCode, Titanium, PhoneGap, Sencha, Xamarine or other tools is a plus
o Expertise in app memory management, multithreading, networking & Security
o Expertise in developing responsive UI for mobile devices
Skill Level
o Overall 10+ years of IT experience
o Minimum 7 years experience in native mobile application development (iPhone, Android, iPad, Windows Mobile)
o Minimum 5 years experience in of published examples of mobile applications on the App store or the Android market
o Minimum 7 years experience in or familiar with iOS SDK (or) Android SDK
o Minimum 7 years experience in in Android - Strong OO design and programming skills in Java J2EE/J2ME
o Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
