(such as Informatica, pentaho, talend,SSIS,Sql/PLSQL...)
Gather requirements and determine multiple solutions that will integrate with existing BI seamlessly.
Responsible for designing the prototypes and ensure client satisfaction with product.
Conduct impact assessment with business in order to determine high level design and size of effort based on requirements.
Understand design and determine the ETL requirements for BI projects.
Understand and design complex ETL routines to load a dimensional star/snowflake schema
Handle and develop error handling processes and report Work with team to ensure standards and patterns are Implemented from design till code release
Ensure data integrity and validation processes.
Implement best practices for optimizing ETL data and transformation processes.
Provide design for new architectural initiatives
Recomment scalability and robustness for ETL processes.
Ensure the successful delivery of projects
Evaluate existing applications that could address client requirements and make recommendations from complex projects.
Support ETL developers by providing technical assistance, troubleshooting and alternative development solutions.
Communicate risks & ensures understanding of these risks
Good communication skills
