Objective We have an immediate opening for an Engineer Lead to join the team for Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in a very fast-paced environment. This right candidate will be an experienced developing enterprise applications using Java platform and would appreciate .NET and LAMP stack knowledge. This person will technically lead and mange project resources. Interact and manage team and work in achieving high levels of productivity and efficiency in complex, dynamic and challenging environments Key Areas of Responsibility: Operational: * Lead a team of Software engineers to design, develop/maintain software applications * Own all technical deliverables (Technical requirements document, designs, code etc.) * Participate in meetings and support project manager/business analysts in day to day activities for the project. * Provide estimates related to the task/module/project to the business analyst/project manager. * Prepare/review design artifacts - high/low level design documents, ER diagram, Functional Specifications, non-functional requirements, code etc. * Drive resolutions of escalations through to completion. * Work with testing/quality team in validating the test cases, test plan and ensuring module/application is thoroughly tested and audited before implementation to production. * Be aware of emerging or new technologies/standards in the industry and determine if they are applicable to the project. Knowledge: * 8+ years experience designing and implementing custom J2EE/JAVA based database applications. * Extensive knowledge of various design patterns. * Proficient at implementing complex business logic requirements for large-scale business application * Hands on experience in Web application frameworks like Struts, Spring, Hibernate * Good exposure to any one of the database like My SQL, Oracle or any RDBMS * Knowledge on any one of the web application servers like Apache, Tomcat, Weblogic, JBOSS Educational Qualification: Engineering or Science graduate(B.E., B.Tech, MCA or Equivalent ). Experience & Skills: Mandatory Experience Required: * Experience in handling 2 - 3 Java based, database related applications * Experience in handling team size of 8-12 technical associates. * Extensive experience with a variety of server-side technologies, databases, and frameworks * Service Oriented Architecture based solution development experience * Experience of working in all phases of the SDLC Essential Skills Required: * Good People Manager * Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills. * Excellent time Management * Good in analytical and problem solving skills * Well-organized with attention to detail Good to have Skills: * .NET Platform * Knowledge on LAMP Stack * ERD tools and OOAD tools * Configuration Management tools Is this job relevant to you?
