Job Description: Technolgy Specialist.

The Teamcenter Build team member will provide subject matter expertise/ strong background in Teamcenter 8.3 and/or 10.1 application, configuration, setup, and validation. Will work with the Teamcenter team (IT and Engineering). Will support Engineering on architecting a solution to address specific business needs. Will develop test plans from requirements or used cases. Will assist in developing a Global Rollout solution.
The Teamcenter Build team member will be responsible for working with IT preferred global vendors that will be supporting multiple deployments, initiatives, and projects. Providing technical leadership with strong background in following software development lifecyle methodologies.
Responsibilities include:
* Acting as a member of the Global Aerospace Teamcenter Build team
* Assist Project manager with the development of the project plan
* Owns all development technical responsibilities for Teamcenter software
* Support Engineering PLM/ R&D group on architecture and solution configuration
* Understand realease management support using BMIDE (schema/ service side/ client side)
* Perform/ Implement software and version upgrades
* Develop functional and technical specifications including test scripts
* Support efforts for data migration from MatrixOne/ other legacy solutions to Teamcenter
* Developing and deploying standard "one model" Teamcenter solutions across Aerospace
* The Teamcenter Build team member acts as a project team member and generally aids the project teams in whatever tasks are necessary to ensure that the AERO Teamcenter system addresses approved business requirements.
* Understand Teamcenter interface to SAP.
* Manage the definition, development, testing, and deployment of Teamcenter application and enhancement.
* Manage requirements, software quality assurance, developing and managing the tools to support critical business processes and manage system development and deployment and ensure delivered solution addresses business needs
* Collaborate with the Infrastructure organization to manage deployments including enhancements and to ensure seamless IT support of environment.
* Collaborating with PLM
* Performance of application
* Ability to shifting priorities in a fast paced and changing environment.
Basic Qualification/ Technicial Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Information technology or equivalent degree
* Minimum of seven (7) years related experience required, with experience in: PLM Architect, Teamcenter, Teamcenter unified Architecture 4-Tier
architecture, EWI, J2EE 4-tier architecture
* Experience in implementation of large Teamcenter Unified solutions, SOA solutions
* BMIDE Codeful and Codeless customizations
* Teamcenter/ SAP interfaces and associated data models to facilitate effective integration.
* Prefer experience in, Windows environment, Java, TC XML, PLM XML, SQL, C, C++, Javascript, or PERL and exposure to JBoss, IDE, ITK Server side coding experience, Oracle Technical and Performance skills
* Eclipse IDE Framework with Java for client side customization
* AIX - systems/ infrastructure administration knowledge
* Application Servers and Windows and UNIX operating systems
* Prefer experience with Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure teams to develop, and implement disaster recovery strategy for Teamcenter.
* CAD managers (Plus)
Additional Qualifications:
* MS or MBA desirable
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with all levels of external and internal customers.
* Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.
* Familiar with Teamcenter integrations with CAD Tools
* Prior work experience in an Aerospace IT, Engineering, or Manufacturing environment desired
* Prefer experience with project methodologies of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
* Strong Aerospace business process knowledge
* Strong Teamcenter and configuration knowledge
* Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
* Self-motivated and highly productive
* Six Sigma Plus experience; Green Belt or higher certification a strong plus.
* Requires the ability to travel up to 10%.
