*Develop APIs, libraries, frameworks and applications as part of the mobile transaction platform to enable digital wallet solutions.
*Provide high quality deliverables within the constraints of budget, scope and time.
*Work with design team to understand high level design and translate it to detailed design for development team
*Responsible for technical quality of the solution being delivered
*Mentor team-members on technical aspects & be a technical role model for the team

*Technically lead project through all stages of the project life cycle, including requirements understanding & analysis, estimation, design, development and acceptance testing
*Work closely with Enterprise Architecture team, BA and/or customer and come up with high level and low level design
*Develop/extend critical/framework components whenever required and create proof of concepts for new/unknown requirements/technologies
*Conduct code reviews and take the responsibility for overall code quality, coach and mentor team members
*Prepare and review Design Documentation, Perform SCM operations - branching, merging, tagging, conflict resolution
*Study upcoming tools and technologies and use them to improve existing solutions and processes.
*Comply with organization's processes and policies. Protect organization's intellectual property. Also, participate in organization level process improvement and knowledge sharing initiatives.

Essential knowledge, skills & attributes
*Hands on experience and expert on working with core Java and android framework
*Hands on multi-threaded coding experience along with synchronous and asynchronous code, memory management, performance tuning, resource optimization
*Excellent debugging skills using command line and Eclipse (crashes and memory leaks)
*Hands on experience in android automation, writing Android Unit test cases, working with Maven/Ant, GIT
*Hands on experience of using Eclipse/My Eclipse IDE, UML tools, MS Word and PowerPoint
*Logical with good analytical skills, design skills and ability to articulate and present his/her thoughts very clearly and precisely in English (both written and verbal)
*Knowledge of Design Patterns and experience in applying them to solve design problems.
*Knowledge of Security concepts (E.g. authentication, authorization, confidentiality etc.) and protocols and experience in their usage in mobile application
Additional/Desirable capabilities
*Experience of working in Payments application Domain
*Hands on experience of working with tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Confluence, JIRA
