Software Architect
Position Description
Our Software Architects are building state-of-the-art healthcare applications that will empower hundreds of thousands of doctors and administrators in the Healthcare delivery process. With the chief architect, you will facilitate the oversight, standardization, and validation of the application architecture and development strategies. The ideal candidate will be a generalist, able to flex in his role as required, yet with an in-depth knowledge of healthcare IT, clinical systems, platform design, and enterprise software.
What You'll Do
● Design, develop, and maintain web-scale applications and services
● Collaborate with technical developers; review deliverables for accuracy, quality, application performance, and completeness
● Participate in analysis and design of systems, help shape system requirements
● Develop prototypes to demonstrate illustrate the use of new technologies within our Products
● Work and collaborate with a talented team in a highly agile Scrum environment
● Keep Quality, Patient Safety, and Privacy a top priority
● Embrace opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge; Evangelize new tools, methodologies, and technologies within the Product Development teams
● Be energized at the prospect of working on software that improves peoples' lives
● Be smart about choosing between fast and right
What You've Done
● Having for 7+ years using Java, J2EE
● Worked in the healthcare industry
● Experience with rich web application \ single page application and worked with AngularJS, JS or similar UI frameworks
● Your extensive experience with RabbitMQ, node.js or similar Messaging or webscale technologies.
● Experience in enterprise systems and software architecture, design, and development
● Developed a track record for building and shipping complex, enterprise software
● Understanding of the entire technology stack, front-end to data tier
● Understanding of Object Oriented and SOA design concepts
● Experience with multi-tenant SaaS applications and API design
● Experience in SAAS\ Cloud based application.
● Experience in NOSQL
● Knowledge of distributed systems, concurrency, scalability, and fault tolerant designs
● Knowledge of data modeling and databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
● Built and tested software using Jenkins or similar continuous integration systems
● Demanded well structured code and testable software
● Ability to multi-task and manage tasks with varying priorities.
● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
● Excellent written and oral communication skills
