The purpose of this role is to analyse current and future regulatory reporting requirements and to develop systems to ensure the firm's compliance with these obligations. The role will also involve taking responsibility for ongoing development of existing regulatory reporting systems. Responsibilities Reporting to the Development Manager, the main duties of this role will include: * Analyzing current and future regulatory reporting requirements * Developing systems to ensure the firm's compliance with our regulatory reporting obligations * Ongoing development and maintenance of existing regulatory reporting systems Experience * Strong analytical and communication skills, as the role will require direct interaction with business stakeholders * Proven ability to plan and execute tasks, both alone and within a group * Previous experience with regulatory & compliance development projects (MiFID / EMIR etc) * Broad business knowledge (futures, options, equities, fixed income, foreign exchange) * Experience with Unavista or other third-party regulatory reporting systems Technical Skills * Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2008 or above) including SSIS and SSRS * Microsoft development tools (C# / .NET ) * Ruby (or other scripting languages) would be useful * Knowledge of Business Intelligence principles and methodologies * Agile methodology including tools such as Git and JIRA * Knowledge of the Sungard GMI back office system would be beneficial The candidate The successful candidate will possess the following: * A-level standard or equivalent required, degree level preferred Mention the following details...
