Job Description - Architect (Android)
Position Snapshot:
To work within a core team to lead R&D, mobileCEM product's core layer's
new development/release & management,revamping the existing components,
develop new ideas, POC & implementation of ideas. While utilizing the
variety of technologies & having experience on various software development
and business processes.
Candidate Profiling:
A result oriented individual with a working experience of 8 + years in
software and product development organization,
focused on android system development and utilizing his/her current
technical proficiencies for contributing to his/her
professional advancement and value creation for the organization.
Dynamic personality, with a creative and innovative frame of mind for
creating/supporting a high performance teams
working towards a holistic vision fulfilment.
Job Specification:
Academic: Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering from a reputed
institute (preferable B+ or above graded),
Computer Science or a closely related discipline is preferred
Behavioural: Strong communication skills with a flexible approach and
active inclination towards team dynamics.
Technical Proficiency -
* Expertise in Java, Android SDK,NDK and applicable frameworks
* Comfortable developing rich GUI's for Android devices & tablets.
* Ability to code any custom, cutting edge Android app we design, from
scratch, with minimal
supervision, quickly, well-structured & with high quality.
* Ability to define server API requirements, hit RESTful web services and
process the resulting JSON is
required of successful candidate.
* Must have a track record for working well with others in a creative
environment and under aggressive
time frames.
* Strong in debugging Crashes & Memory leaks, Refactoring & Optimizing
code base with profiling, tuning
the Android applications.
* Strong understanding of interactive application development paradigms,
memory management, File
I/O, network & socket programming, concurrency and multi-threading.
* Database/SQL handlingJob Description - Lead Engineer (Android) AN-017-P
* Should have deep knowledge of android app life-cycle, creating custom
cool User Interfaces, Layouts,
Intents, services, loaders, fragments and other tools e.g. introduced with
Honeycomb/Tablets.
* Good to have experience with configuration management tools like SVN/Git
and defect management
tool e.g. JIRA.
* Contribute in the Unit testing & provide support to the QA during the
Integration testing.
* Deep knowledge & leading in the software development lifecycle,
including scoping, planning,
conception, design, implementation, deployment and maintenance
* Understanding of VOIP, SIP, SSL, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS & Telecommunication
Protocols like
GSM/3G/LTE/CDMA will be a plus
Role Requirements -
* An able leader to lead the team in technological & non-technological
aspects
* Will be responsible for mentoring the team members & actively handling
team code reviews during the
Project execution.
* Contribute in doing quick Proof of Concepts for different leads coming
in from the Business
development.
* Will be responsible for the delivery of core components with release
cycle.
* Proactive in doing Research & Development and capability to suggest
solutions & new ideas.
