Our Associate Professor in Child Health Nursing would be ambitious and enthusiastic about cross-disciplinary and collaborative working across the University and the NHS. You will also be prepared to engage in overseas teaching and research. Essential for this position is a Doctoral qualification and a current active membership as a registered child health nurse. You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Your ability to listen, engage, motivate and inspire others is also key to job performance. The focus for this position within Edinburgh Napier University is to provide academic leadership to registered child health nurses to develop team capacity to undertake research. You will be required to conduct individual and collaborative research projects including supervision of such projects, and contribute to the research profile leading to the production of research outcomes; contributing to the University's objective of growing our healthcare academic reputation for research-informed student teaching and learning, innovation and integrated academic practice.
