PROLIM is looking for PLM Practice Manager Professionals to join its growing PLM consulting practice in INDIA. As a Practice Manager, you will take responsibility for the leadership and support of our growing PLM Practice in India. This growth and expansion of our India PLM business is a PROLIM strategic priority over the next few years, and we are looking for seasoned professionals to team with PROLIM's leadership to build our Indian team. The Practice Manager will have had demonstrated expertise in leading PLM practice covering Business and enabling technology aspects in the overall PLM space. The Practice manager would manage multiple responsibilities including a strategist, practice leader, operations, people's leader, delivery and a Presales expert. The incumbent should have managed most of these roles as part of his career in right measure before growing into a practice Manager.



The Practice Manager will report to the Vice President Sales and Service Delivery and responsible for driving firms PLM business and growth across PROLIM's India and global markets.



Key role dimensions would include Building and growing PLM practice as per target and future market focus, meet revenue targets.

Key Accountabilities:



Leading consulting project delivery for multiple accounts and complex projects, allocation of tasks to team members and management of progress.
Tracking of Project team activities and reporting usage of effort, Providing oversight and coaching to ensure project delivery remains within specified scope, on time and on budget.
Achieve a balance between meeting client obligations, supportingtheir needs, and acting as an ambassador for the Company.
Manage the PLM practice to plan and agreed KPIs measured to define metrics and processes
Aligns PLM's growth strategy and firms business strategy
Demonstrate thought leadership to help grow PROLIM PLM practice as aleading global PLM services provider
Coordinates with various vertical business units (VBU) and global sales teams to drive the overall competency growth as per market needs, future market focus and help define workable Go to Market (GTM) focus.
Help drive business from ongoing clients and help win new clients.
Actively support sales opportunities by leveraging solutions, offerings and services and translate them into strong value proposition for clients and help win most deals.
Effectively monitor the overall practice resources to drive them towards being relevant to PLM technologies and market needs at all times.
Contributes industry expertise and understanding of client business.
Support delivery teams on various projects to have the required multi-discipline PLM team including internal and 3rd party resources to ensure Customer Service Delivery Excellence.
Demonstrate eminence across various technologies and products that complement PLM solutions and develop a team with deep knowledge of such products and technologies
Provide expertise within the context of each project in a manner designed to increase the overall PLM knowledge of team members.
Co-ordinate and leverage relationships with leading PLM Co's and product vendors to assimilate product expertise build internal resources and help build thought leadership/POCs to grow business.
Resource management and project allocation.
Drive Solution Development.
Manage Client Relationships.
Drive growth of the PLM Practice.
Program and Delivery Management
Talent Acquisition and management including attrition control.

Experience Requirements:



Overall experience of 12 to 15 years with relevant experience in PLM practice with demonstrated experience of minimum 4 years in having managed .
Previous project management experience in a professional consulting role leading PLM projects ideal.
Experience in Business improvement activities
Experience in Systems Engineering
Experience in various aspects of Project Management / Program
Management
Management experience of staff and resources of a small to medium team (onsite /offshore)
Experience of working within a Multi-project Organisation, liaising with staff up to senior level from different disciplines and backgrounds
Business driven, value centric approach to PLM.
Exposure to Pre-sales activities.
Planning and managing complex projects, and demonstrated ability to lead teams in high performance and changing environments.
Analysing significant business problems and designing successful solutions
Job will involve travelling and candidate should be willing to travel within India or overseas at short notice .


Education:



Bachelor's Degree preferably from technical background is a must (Dip / BE / B Tech) .
PG Dip or Masters in Business Management will have added advantage.
