Work Location: Chennai/ Hyderabad
Summary of Job Purpose:
§ Work with SMEs to understand as-is application and proposed functional and non-functional requirements.
§ Finalize appropriate Technology stack based on the above
§ Propose Robust Technical architecture based on the functional and Non-functional requirements
§ Work with DBE to create normalized database schema
§ Create High Level design and provide inputs for creation of Low Level Design
§ Provide directions and suggestions on Solution approach to the delivery team during the Design phase
§ Deep knowledge of the client and server side web technologies, design patters, clear understanding of development trends and architectural standards
§ Hands-on experience designing and implementing Java applications
§ Should have architected Java/JEE based applications in the past
§ Should be able to take architectural decisions and recommend/propose technical solution
§ Client facing experience and excellent communication skills are a must
Education and Experience:
*Any Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
*8+ years of experience in Information Technology, ideally having worked in JAVA/ J2ee Technologies.
Technical Skills:
* Java and JEE: Core Java, Servlets, JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, AJAX, XML/SOAP, Web Services, EJB, JDBC, Struts, Spring, Hibernate
* Database and IDE: Oracle/SQLServer, Eclipse
* Application Server: WebSphere, WebLogic
