Company URL: http://www.india.ford.com Experience: 7+ Yrs Role: Teamcenter Manufacturing Qualification: Any Degree Industry: Automotive JOB DESCRIPTION Summary: Lead and manage a team of size 4-6 Teamcenter Manufacturing and allied application developers. Develop, create and configure Teamcenter Applications in Manufacturing Process Planner, Classification, Structure Manager and Teamcenter Standalone Applications. Knowledge of software packages considered for Teamcenter customization and configuration. Responsible for designing software or customizing software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Education/Experience: * Bachelor degree in Manufacturing (preferable) or computer science or equivalent. * 6-8 years Teamcenter Manufacturing related experience required. Skills/Competencies: Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and manage a team of size 4-6 Teamcenter and allied application developers. Knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models. Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision making skills desirable. Responsibilities * Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. * Create new Teamcenter applications on Manufacturing module or that involves communication with Manufacturing modules. * Modify existing Teamcenter applications to fix bugs, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. * Coordinate software system installation and monitor functioning to ensure specifications are met. * Provide software development services to design, and build Teamcenter client side customizations, workflow handlers and reports. * Provide software development services to design, build and support Teamcenter ITK utilities for multiple applications. * Follow Process and Techniques that are mandated for the applications. Knowledge on SDM and QC process for design, development and testing. * 5-6 years of Teamcenter PLM implementation experience. * 2 years development experience with Teamcenter UA ITK and workflow handlers. * 4 years development experience in Teamcenter client-side customization. * 4 years development experience in Teamcenter Manufacturing Module. * Strong analytical skills and customer focus. * 1 - 2 years of experience in Teamcenter SOA related development skills Desirable Qualifications. * Knowledge of Auros/E2ks, active knowledge management system skills Good to Have. * Knowledge of Tecnomatix/Process Simulate, Manufacturing Simulation application system skills Good to Have.
