AAPC/AHIMA - CCS, CPC - H, CPC • Minimum 5 - 6 years of Medical coding experience with multiple specialties. • Minimum 3 - 4 years of experience in managing a team of medical coders. • Good Knowledge in ICD 9 CM, CPT, HCPCS including ICD 10 CM. • Coding experience in both Hospital and Physician coding. • Should also be able to guide and train medical coders in various specialties. • Preferably from Life science background. • Should have good communication skills. • Experience in communicating to client directly through e-mail or call on a daily basis. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Ability to understand the client requirement and exceed the expectation in terms of client delivery. • Good team player and capable of getting work done out of the coders. • Capable of working with other billing teams. • Capable of doing process improvement. • Good people management skills. • Good conflict management skills.
