Permanent Position:- ODA Software (P) Limited (www. ondemandagility.com) Job Location: Gurgaon Offshore Technical Lead Qualifications: 1) Proficient in the English language. Both spoken and written. 2) Effective communicator. Should be able to add value by being able to discuss design decisions and suggest features or options that we failed to specify. 3) Able to understand system level architecture, requirements, and design. Can apply this understanding to guide a team in building systems. 4) Since the GUI portion of the platform is the customer interface to our products, the candidate must be willing to learn the basics of the R/C hobby in order to better understand the views and needs of the customer. Learning the operation of our legacy radio transmitter software will be required in order to maintain and build upon the 'look and feel' of our products. 5) Proficient with our chosen GUI and underlying operating system. 6) Understands the hardware platform and its operating parameters. 7) Able to turn requirements of the user interface portion of the radio system into tasks and be able to work with all team members to ensure that the tasks are executed. 8) Able to manage changes in requirements based upon program management and marketing input that are made arbitrarily and not well documented. Example of desirable experience: If we select an ARM based system running Android then I would expect the candidate to be able to lead a team to produce software to target the hardware platform that we are providing at the given Android API level. This includes being able to access all of the input and output hardware/devices that are provided with the device. This may require the ability to work both within the Android development environment as well as with the native development and accessory development environments (NDK, ADK) since the interface to the real-time portion of the radio may not be limited to a standard Android interface. Expertise in embedded systems development as well as the chosen hardware GUI and OS will be the major technical considerations.
