With multi-domain and mechatronic simulation solutions, LMS addresses complex engineering challenges associated with intelligent system design and model-based systems engineering Job Description You will be performing all of the SDLC steps for individual features of the product and creating, documenting and executing software designs for these features. You will understand the high level requirements and convert them into detailed functional requirements and contribute individually or in a team as needed to meet the critical requirements of these assignments. You will also participate in developing the overall software architecture and prepare detail level software design, maintain existing software code and resolve critical customer issues and internally reported problems. You should be able to write clean, robust and maintainable code to minimize the cost of defects over time and follow the various steps in the SDLC process including writing design documents and coding About Job Define tool chain to enable high productivity development of embedded software Design and implement Domain Specific Languages using JetBrains MPS Language Workbench Develop and maintain features such as generation of new architectural views (e.g. hardware architectural perspective), analysis techniques - both formal and test-based, etc. Develop and maintain all APIs and interchange capabilities exploiting functionalities of diverse tools such as Imagine. LabAMESim, Imagine, LabSysDM/SystemSynthesis, Teamcenter, MATLAB/Simulink, etc. Create a highly polished visual experience that fully represent brand, market, and end-user requirements Responsibilities Responsible for overall software architecture, including packaging and licensing Apply insights gained from the state-of-the-art in software engineering to elaborate requirements for the embedded software world Minimum Requirements At least 10+ years of experience in design and development of engineering software using Object Oriented Programming Concepts, design patterns, and templates. Solid Java programming skills alon with eMatrix Interest in and aptitude for working at the cutting edge of Software Engineering technologies Compiler skills Good understanding and knowledge of technology landscape Highly motivated individual capable of adapting to an exceedingly dynamic environment A natural communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work as part of a multi-cultural multi-national team Optional Requirements Exposure to embedded software engineering practices, methodologies, architecture and programming patterns Exposure to software such as MATLAB/Simulink and languages such as Modelica Exposure to formal analysis Exposure to architectural modeling languages/frameworks such as SysML, UML, AADL, EAST-ADL, VHDL-AMS, EMF Understanding of DSLs Experience with agile development methodologies and processes Exposure to AutoSAR Education: BE/BTech, ME/MTech in Computer Science People with degrees in other engineering disciplines may apply if they have relevant exposure to Computer Science and Engineering.
