We have an excellent opportunity to be part of one of the leading global consulting specialists companies in its Managed Services division providing services to leading clients in North America. Your role will be as a Senior Apps DBA resource with Lead level responsibilities. This is a key role with high visibility.

Domain Skills:
SOA & Weblogic
? Experience in a Lead role of at least 2 years. Must have been responsible for managing and mentoring a minimum of 2 Apps DBAs
? Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience servicing international clients in an offshore model. Experience with US and European customers will be a strong plus
? Experience working in 24/ 7 / 365 delivery & support model
? Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in end-client facing roles will be strong plus
? Experience in Oracle Applications R12/11i architecture, database and system administration, including hands-on ability
? Experience in Administering Oracle Database 10g/11g/12c
? Experience in administering SOA 11g, Fusion Middleware and Weblogic
? Experience in Linux and Windows platform
? Extensive experience in complex environment management to support multiple concurrent Oracle Applications implementations and custom application implementations
? Strong "best practices" experience and philosophy in Standard Operating Procedures (SPO) including but not limited to security, patch management, testing support and being able to lead by example, mentor other DBA and Sys-Admins to follow and enforce
Experience in the following areas will be a strong plus:
? RAC/ASM, Data guard configuration (Standby Database Setup), , 10g Application serverSSO/OAM, Toad, Remedy, Serena Dimension, Hyperion, Demantra and OEM OPSM,OAM,OIM,OID and OBIEE
? Shell scripting and PL/SQL programming.
Responsibilities:
? Installation and maintenance of Oracle EBS R12/EBS, Fusion Middleware relational database and supporting software
? Designing and assisting with capacity planning, sizing, and space management
? Writing programs in an appropriate administrative language for the purpose of data loading, unloading, and other manipulation
? Writing database programs in an appropriate administrative language for the purpose of automating processes and supporting applications
? Designing, developing, documenting, and validating database backup and recovery plans in accordance with the business requirements
? Providing user-level system services such as setting up accounts, assigning passwords, and setting privileges
? Maintaining database system and account security through the use of established procedures, promptly report any breaches
? Creating end-user database system operation documentation, training materials, reports etc.
? Monitoring database system and application performance including its integration with operating system usage. Correcting and tuning abnormalities
? Providing technical support by troubleshooting and resolving database system and related operating system, and application problems
? Researching, evaluating, and documenting recommendations on database systems and applications to meet business requirements
? Maintaining a current knowledge of database systems, related networking technologies, operating systems, and applications
? Overseeing day to day delivery for designated clients during the assigned shift. Coordinating with North America based colleagues and the end-client as required for delivery.
? Mentoring junior DBAs
Other requirements:
? Ability to work under pressure and in an environment with multiple clients.
? Work in late / night shifts to coordinate with North American clients.
? You must have demonstrated stability in prior employment tenures. Candidates who have changed jobs frequently in recent years are generally ineligible to join the B&D team
? Selected candidates must be able to join within a month or less. Candidates with longer contractual notice periods will only be considered if they can join in this time-frame.
Education / Academic requirements:
? Minimum Bachelor's degree from a well-recognized college/ university.
Physical Requirements:
? Ability to distinguish colors.
