Role and responsibilities : Own the technical end-to-end delivery of one or more subsystems Collaborate closely with Product Managers to plan the releases using Agile Scrum methodology Manage team of 3-6 developers and testers and oversee the design- development-testing cycles during Sprint execution Contribute significantly in design and architectural reviews across teams Work with other teams to build robust subsystem integrations, following principles of SOA and EAI Build prototypes/PoC for new technology stack/libraries/frameworks to be evaluated Ensure that Continuous Integration (CI) and automated testing infrastructure is leveraged to deliver high quality products Own the improvements in system uptime and performance metrics, by using the right monitoring and alerting tools in production environment Mentor team members, allocate tasks, manage contingencies, carry out performance management, hiring and team building activities Must Haves: 7+ years of design and development experience building highly scalable & distributed systems, performance benchmarking & tuning. Hands-on experience on one or more of the following tech stacks: o JAVA , ANDROID , MUST HAVE WORKED MANDATORILY ON NATIVE ANDROID APPLICATIONS At least 3-4 years of experience managing small teams Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from reputed institutes Experience with employee development, performance management and delivering results. Excellent ability to solve complex problems, analyze quantitatively and to prioritize effectively Nice-to-haves: Hands-on experience with Big Data/Hadoop/MapReduce & other technologies Experience with managing infrastructure in cloud/hybrid environment Experience at customer facing organizations in E-commerce/Travel/Internet domain Warm Regards, Sharanamma.R.Gowda.
