Responsibility
1. Work closely with our product development teams to model new functionality, design tests and analyze performance results.
2. Working within our Performance Engineering team, you will be responsible for developing various performance engineering assets using the state of the art technologies and maintenance of performance testing tools.
3. Using your knowledge of Web-based, Client and Server applications, databases, operating systems, and servers you will work with performance engineers to create test scripts, run performance tests, analyze performance results and provide a summary of performance issues and suggestions for improvement.
4. Performance tests will be run on a variety of applications in a variety of test environments. You will be responsible for configuring server, operating systems and databases then initializing test scenarios, accurately and consistently running tests and collecting results in on organized manner. You will continue to improve the efficiency of the performance engineering process.
5. With minimal supervision, candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal and be well organized.
6. Ability to multi-task and prioritize as well as have strong hands-on experience in a lab environment.
7. Exhibit logical troubleshooting and creative problem solving skills.
Qualification
8+ years of experience in performance engineering including workload modelling, development and execution of performance testing, analysis and tuning.
* Experience in performance engineering for multi-tier web based applications.
* Experience with at least one performance test tools and profilers for application and database
* Experience in relational database management systems, preferably Oracle or SQL Server.
* Experience in configuring and debugging database for enterprise applications
* Must have hands-on experience in Linux
