Job Description:
* Will play the role of primary Off-shore DBA and Senior Oracle Apps DBA
* Responsible for architecting the deployment and administration of various Oracle technologies stack products ranging from Oracle Database, Oracle Application Server, Oracle Collaboration Suite, Oracle Discoverer etc.
* Also will be involved in identifying and orchestrating performance tuning and optimization of the applications, services, and integrated tiers
* Will be working as a System Administrator with responsibilities like Monitoring Performance, Trouble Shooting and Tuning Concurrent Manager, Creating Users and Responsibilities, Request Groups and Menus
* Actively monitoring the Production instances and handling the escalations logged by Level 1 support team
* Coordinating with the on-site and offshore developers to fix the issues.
Desired Profile Description/ Candidate's Description:
* 6+ years experience in IT industry as Oracle Applications DBA
* Handling the responsibilities of Oracle APPS DBA like patch application, backup, monitor concurrent managers, monitor performance and sys administration activities like user creation, responsibility creation, registering reports etc.
* Has experience designing and creation of databases, Performance tuning, backup and recovery.
* Should have experience of managing team of DBAs for production support, implementation and upgradation of projects.
