Work location: Bangalore Experience - 9 yrs - 14 yrs Skills : Datawarehouse / Informatica Architect NOTE: LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN JOIN IN 15-20 DAYS Job Description: Drive Strategic initiatives such as rationalizing client current state portfolio, gather future state requirements, and prescribe an actionable road map * Evaluate & propose appropriate Data integration tools based on identified requirements including definition and manage proof of concept demonstrations for EDW * Define data migration & data governance roadmap as part of enterprise application portfolio rationalization * Be involved in full lifecycle development and implementation enterprise data warehouse, BI reporting and analytical services - implements technology solutions at a detailed level by applying industry knowledge, best practices and architectural guidance. * Establish efficient design and programming patterns for engineers * Works with multiple projects simultaneously (including sales proposals). Serves as the lead troubleshooter to diagnose technology issues in development and operational environments. * Technical Mentorship and career guidance for a team of direct reports (Tech Leads) and DW/BI practice members * Leads Center-of-Excellence (COE) teams to develop IP based solution frameworks and productivity accelerators * Posses prior experience as DW Architect in areas of DWBI Solution Assessment, DW tool evaluation and proof of concepts * Possess prior experience in enterprise application portfolio rationalization including defining data migration roadmaps and solutions * Proficient in OLAP data modeling and related methodologies - Kimball, Inmon * Possess prior experience as DW Architect role on an Enterprise DW implementation/large DW consulting practice/DW product implementation: o Experience designing data models, ETL, metadata, cubes and drill through reports o Demonstrated knowledge of DW data population techniques (ETL/ELT) for target structures such as Star Schemas, Snowflake Schemas and 1-3NF data models. This includes error/suspension handling, control processing, data cleansing, and performance design * Has good understanding of MDM concepts * Extensive experience with IBM suite of DW products (ETL and BI) - Informatica - Infosphere (DataStage Parallel extender, Information Analyser ,quality stage, metadata work bench etc)- - Cognos - SAP Business Objects * Experience/Knowledge with at least one of the following: o Microsoft - SQL Server SSIS/SSAS , SQL Server Reporting Services o ODI, OBIEE+ o Microstrategy o DB2, Oracle If interested then please send your latest resume at vasundhra@theglove.co.in ASAP for further process.
