Responsibilities:
*Responsible for managing the software projects in Agile (preferred) or Waterfall environment.
* In addition to managing the development team, responsible for working closely with development, design and architecture team to ensure on-time delivery of superior quality applications.
*Ensure complete understanding of the project requirements, estimates and project scope - lead development team to deliver projects within the framework of the given schedule.
*Provide overall project leadership and direct project team members in the development of high-quality appli-cations within committed time frames.
*Implement standards & best practices for software development and ensure process compliance.
*Leads the solution development and implementation aspects of client engagements ensuring high quality, in-tegrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.
*Should be conversant with release engineering, build and multi-releases with respect web and mobile application.
*Responsible for analysing resource requirements, recruitment and succession planning.
*Responsible for training and mentoring of the development team and monitoring their performance through-out the project.
*Responsible for keeping self and the development team updated on latest trends in tools & technologies.
Desired Skills and Experience:
*Post Graduate / Graduate in Engineering / Computer Science with from a reputed institute.
*Minimum 10 years of experience in software development and project management.
*At least 4 years of experience in executing mobile application development with native and hybrid develop-ment frameworks(iOS/Android , Worklight, Cordova )
*Excellant understanding on guidelines provided by Google, Apple for the native application development in-cluding User experience design, development and platform specific tesing procedures(iOs, Android)
*Experience in automating mobile application testing and unit testing
*Experience in managing enterprise web based applications involving open source server technologies and re-lated tools and frameworks(Struts, Spring, Hibernate)
*Good understanding of software project management, processes & methodologies.
*Excellent communication skills focused on the facilitation of meetings; ability to deliver informative, well-organized documentation and presentations
*Proactive in pre-empting issues and problems
*Good analytical, grasping and problem solving skills
*Good understanding about the IT Technologies such as SOA (Webservices) and Integration platforms)
*Experience in more than one cross platform mobile application development frameworks
*Sound knowledge on latest trends in mobile application development with respect user experience, user in-terface , distribution, mobile device monitoring, etc
*Should be strong in current technology and trends.
Location: Bangalore, India
