Role : Sharepoint Architect Required Technical Skill Set : SharePoint 2007 & above Information Architecture .Net 2005 & above RDBMS Desired Experience Range : 7-10 Must have: Understand Layered / Tiered architecture. * Understand SOA Based architecture * Knowledge of the best practices for SharePoint, ASP.NET solutions * Knowledge of Design Patterns * Understand and implement the SharePoint architecture. * Understand and implement the Deployment architecture * Understand and implement the integration points between Document Management, Web Content Management and SharePoint * Understand and implement Search features * Understand and implement migration solutions e.g. Documentum, Vignette, Lotus Notes to Sharepoint * Capacity Planning * Knowledge of Sharepoint Administration (Mysite, TeamSite, Publishing Portal) * BI Integration with Sharepoint (Sharepoint Performance Point Server) Good to Have: Documentum (Document Management System) * Vignette (Web Content Management System) * Lotus Notes * Migration Knowledge Backround: Should have architected solutions on SharePoint as well as Migration of other Document Management and Web Content Management systems to SharePoint.
