| Dear Job Seeker, Database Administrator Skillset: · Overall 4+ years of IT Experience and with a Minimum of 3+ years of Experience in Database Administration · In Depth knowledge in MS SQL 2000/2005/2008 R2 Administration and also supported deployments for MS BI â€" SSRS/SSIS/SSAS · Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems · Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools · Experience with backups, restores and recovery models and Handling user permissions · Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MSSQL Server · Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts · Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics · Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory and proper disk configurations · Good communication and documentation skills Qualifications: • Minimum Graduate or Post Graduate with 3 years of Education • Relevant Microsoft certifications(MCDBA) in MSSQL 2008 R2 would be an added advantage.
