Candidate Skill Requirements:

Education:  B.E, B. Tech, M.S, MCA, M.Tech with good programming aptitude/skills

Experience: 3 – 8 years

HISTORY-JDA SOFTWARE:

• In 1978, James D. Armstrong formed JDA Software Services which, by 1985, had grown to be one of Canada 's largest IBM mid range Software providers.
• JDA launched a period of aggressive acquisition….April 2000 acquisition of Intactix division provided more Solutions for space Management for Retailers, Suppliers & Manufacturers as well as more than 3,000 customers worldwide.
• In September 2001, JDA acquired E3 Corporation, adding 500 customers in Retail & Wholesale-distribution in 20 countries.
• To further respond to a growing customer base, JDA acquired Manugistics in July 2006. This acquisition allowed JDA to expand their Product line with Supply & Demand Management and Pricing, and Transportation and Logistics applications.
• On November 5, 2009, JDA announced its intent to acquire i2 Technologies, a Dallas based provider of Supply Chain Solutions…..the acquisition was completed in January 2010. 

Job Description:

4+ years of software design & development experience - Sound fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures - 2+ years of experience with iOS, Objective C, Cocoa Touch, XCode development - Experience with UI development for enterprise mobile app - Experience with using web services, REST in the app - Exceptional analytical, aptitude and attention to detail - Good organizational and problem solving skills - Good team player who is self-motivated and well organized - Strong oral and written communication skills - Familiar with Agile development process
