Find the JD Below: * Candidate should be willing to work extensively on Shell Scripting for automating DBA tasks and process automations in a complex environment. He also needs to have good in depth knowledge in Core Oracle DBA activities like RAC, ASM, RMAN and new Oracle technologies. * Infrastructure Specialist in Oracle 9i/10g/11g database server * Installing and Creating 10g and 11g databases according to OFA model * Installing and Managing Oracle 10g and 11g RAC databases. * Hands on experience in OEM GRID control. * Experience in Database/SQL Performance Tuning. * Configuring and Administering Oracle 10g/11g Automatic Storage Management(ASM) * Implementation and Administration of Oracle Data guard * Experience in Database Migration/upgrade from Oracle 9i/10g to 11g and troubleshooting post upgrade issues. * Cloning development databases from PROD using RMAN and BCVs * Configuring and Scheduling RMAN Backups * Managing Database Performance using (Statspack, TKPROF, AWR, ADDM) * Applying Oracle Critical Patch Updates (CPU Patches) and one-off patches * Planning for Production Storage and Capacity Management. * Trouble shooting and resolving database issues. * Database Backup & recovery hands on experience using RMAN. * In depth knowledge in Shell scripting. * Hands on experience on OS (HP/AIX/Linux/Sun OS/Windows etc) and OS issues monitoring and troubleshooting. * Conforming to client compliances and expectations. Good communication and soft skills * Hands on experience in MySQL, Amazon and PostgreSQL database technologies are desired. Immediate Joinees / Candidates with 30 days Notice Period are preferred.
