Must Have:

* 7+ years of Testing experience with strong background in Software Quality assurance.

* 5+ years of Testing software in a complex , large , scalable , distributed environment

* 5+ years of Testing experience for multi-tier web based applications built using JAVA/J2EE technology stack.

* Good understanding of web based service-level interaction , able to debug/trace low level HTTP(s) data interchange.

* Experience with server configuration , environment setup and debugging skills.

* Thorough orientation in RDBMS concepts , SQL , stored procedures , and awareness of schema and data optimization principles.

* Highly proficient in a Unix/Linux environment.

* Excellent knowledge of Internet/Web technologies , such as web browsers , Java , AJAX , HTTP , HTML/XML , JavaScript , CSS , XSL/XSLT , XPATH etc.

* Minimum 7 years of software quality assurance experience in which at least 5 years in web based applications.

* Passion for testing and the ability to work independently on diverse problems.

* Superior analytical and problem solving skills.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills.

* Outstanding interpersonal skills , written and verbal communications

Nice to Have:

* Writing test automation code in Java - preferably using open source tools.

* SOA architecture

Responsibilities:

* Define , Develop and Execute Test engineering tasks , which include reviewing product requirements and analysis , executing test plans and test cases , monitoring/analyzing Test results , collecting Test metrics and conducting Test reporting.

* Function and interact across teams in a large organization to execute multiple tasks/assignments simultaneously with input from several resources.

* Provides constructive feedback about the consistency and depth of the requirements.

* Develops and Improves testing methods and processes and overall quality of testing deliverables.

* Develops and executes test plans to perform all aspects of quality assurance , including functional , regression , and system testing

* Identifies and communicates issues/risks applying technical and root cause analysis skills.

Job Description:

Perform Senior QA engineer tasks for testing a complex web-based application and its associated components developed using Service Oriented Architecture. Demonstrate experience and leadership in software testing methodologies , testing approaches and planning , QA processes , defect and metrics tracking. Work to ensure that developed products meet design specifications and are within total quality management limits and standards. Communicate with product developers , technical operations and architects on product issues.
