Hadoop Tech PM for Bangalore location.
Position: Hadoop Tech PM
Experience: 8-12 yrs
Job Location: Bangalore Job Type:Permanent
Roles & Responsibilities:
Hands on experience with the Hadoop stack (HDFS, MapReduce, Hbase, Pig, Hive, and Oozie).
Troubleshoot and debug Hadoop eco system runtime issues.
Recovering from node failures and troubleshooting common Hadoop cluster issues.
Evaluation of Hadoop infrastructure requirements and design/deploy solutions (high availability, big data clusters, etc.)
Expertise in performance tuning, system dump analysis, storage capacity management.
Experience with versioning, change control, problem management.
Managing and leading the project team.
Managing co-ordination of working groups engaged in project work.
Sets up and manages support functions covering planning, tracking, reporting, quality management and internal communication.
Produces consolidated reporting, including milestone summary, key issues, risks, benefits, summary of costs incurred.
Establishes standards, tools and procedures for use on the project, including Issue, Risk, Change and Information Management.
Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results.
Work in an agile environment to design and implement new features based on business requirements.
Technical written and presentation communication skills are essential; must be able to present technical topics to the team.
Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
Experience adhering and enforcing strict software quality coding standards and best practices including version control, issue tracking, continuous integration in a test driven development; experience with reviewing others- code, delivering constructive criticism and assisting developers with making changes/fixes.
Demonstrated strong problem solving ability, logic and analytical skills; ability to prioritize work and participate in a number of projects simultaneously.
Good technical aptitude and sharp at learning and using new technologies. Thanks&Regards,
