Our core function spans multiple Data Warehouses, Business Intelligence and Analytics cluster within Information Management. The work involves providing SME Knowledge Guidance, Delivery Management as well as People Management across the Data, Reporting & Analytics application landscape. You will be responsible for managing critical applications that influence banks management decision making process, regulatory reporting (which can influence financial/non-financial penalties) and operational reporting. Key Result Areas:  Architecture: • Architect / Review Data Warehouse and Reporting Analytics projects o Architecture, Design and Development Guidance o Review and SME Guidance on Best Practices o Thought Leadership • Ownership of our Big Data Estate o Infrastructure Ownership o Proof of Concepts o Best Practices and Innovation Agenda • Face off to key business stake-holders as a system expert for our application stack within the DWH/BI/Big Data stack Provide SME Support: • Active contributor to Driving Innovation across the business – Ideation / Product Build / Knowledge Collaterals • Ability to Roll-up sleeves and get into problem statements as needed Leadership: • Define and Enforce Standards and Best Practices • Self-Starter – Willingness to take charge and provide direction in an ambiguous situation • Escalation Management Knowledge, Skills and Experience Core Skills: • Architect in the Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence / Big Data space, with expertise in Financial Services • Expertise in 1 ETL Tool + 1 BI/Reporting Tool, preferably with some background Retail Banking Ops • Expertise in Hortonworks Big Data Platform and/or Advanced Analytics (ML / NLP / NLG /) • Knowledge of a Statistical Modeling tool like SAS or R a big plus Additional Skills Desired: • Executive Presence • Depth and Breadth of Technology Expertise • 12-15 years of Overall experience with atleast 4yrs as an Architect • Computer Science degree or equivalent.
