Refactors the codebase of applications and reviews source code of peers. Resolves and identifies root cause for unique production issues. Key Responsibilities Software Engineering: Refactors the codebase of applications for extensibility, structural elegance, and performance optimization purposes. Reviews source code and design of peers to incorporate the advance business domain knowledge to offers vocal involvement in design and implementation discussion. They provide alternate views on software and product design characteristics to strengthen final decisions. They develop and maintain high use of critical path libraries to set functions and frameworks to design units for integration testing approach. They need to design and conducts non-functional testing using software profilers and scalability tools to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of software system inter-dependencies Production Support: Troubleshoots, resolves and identifies root cause for unique production issues. To coordinate for the release activities of projects to ensure that audit requirements are met. They plan and coordinate implementation activities for general system maintenance and upgrades. They monitor and assess overall system health, capacity and provide recommendations to management. Negotiates with vendors to resolve issues Coordinates Disaster Recovery activities Documentation: Creates high and low level application to design artifacts including process flows, data models and interfaces based on maintenance, operations and performance standards. Interprets the requirements to develop or modify technical design specifications for off the shelf and custom developed applications. Defines and validates non-functional requirements to define and document the environment usage strategy to create the integration test plans. They also participates in defining the technology roadmap Technical Leadership: Plan and coordinates for design activities within development team that includes detailed design specifications to ensure requirements and technology standards are met. Trains junior engineers on technical skills. Provide guidance and directions for the development teams to ensure compliance standards are met.
