Health and Safety Manager
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Health and Safety Manager to develop their career at our research Institute with an excellent reputation as a diverse, forward thinking and prestigious organisation engaged in world class medical sciences research.

Your role is to assist Research Groups and Facility Heads by providing safety advice and support, and monitoring safety issues by audit and inspection. You will be customer facing, using negotiation and tact to enable safe working and help deliver the Institute's safety goals.

You will manage the Safety Officer and provide a full range of safety services. You will enjoy passing on skills and knowledge to others, and have excellent communication and engagement skills.

We are seeking applicants with relevant experience in managing safety, especially biological safety, genetic modification, and radiation protection. A scientific degree and the NEBOSH National General Certificate are essential. NEBOSH Diploma, or equivalent, is desirable and support for study can be provided.
