Experience: 8 - 13 years Job Description: Roles & Responsibilities : - Perform 24x7 support, resolve production incidents on time and troubleshoot issues on production systems - Setup and maintain High-Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions in MSSQL using Log shipping, Mirroring, Replication and Clustering - Perform data migration, and redaction utilizing approved tools and process - Monitor database for growth and respond to any application issues - Installation of MSSQL 2000, 2005, 2008, Analysis services and Reporting services - Direct liaison with Client - Regular status reporting and team handling. - Task planning and monitoring and tracking. Requirements : - Monitor database for growth and respond to any application issues - Develop capacity model based on requirements - Identify and recommend changes to poorly performing SQL to the application developers, object statistics gathering, data level migration, schedule application jobs to perform data housekeeping and maintenance - Capable to perform MSSQL database setup, database upgrades, space management, backup & recovery - Experience in troubleshooting Log shipping, Mirroring, Replication and Clustering problems.
