You will work with the latest technologies to build a full-stack application that will directly service end users through websites and APIs. You will build the foundation of the software platform and heavily influence the future of the initiative. You will work with the latest technologies and help design the architecture to match the local culture of the development team and to enable the need for pivoting and rapid scaling.
Responsibilities:
Technical Guidance: You will provide technical leadership to a team of excellent software engineers; this requires that you have the technical depth to make complex design decisions and the hands-on ability to lead by example.
Execution and Delivery: You will be expected to instill and follow good software development practices and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. You should be familiar with agile practices as well as be able to adapt these to the needs of the business, with a constant focus on product quality.
Team Management: You will be responsible for hiring and mentoring your team; helping individuals grow in their careers, having constant dialogue about their aspirations and sharing prompt, clear and actionable feedback about performance.
Skills and Experience
BE / ME, MTech in CS/EE/ECE or equivalent
4+ years experience, including experience in large-scale applications
Experience in Java / .Net technologies with good exposure in Data structures, OOPS concepts.
Experience writing full-stack software applications including presentation layer dynamic UIs
Hands-on coding and debugging skills
Experience with Node.js or Ruby on Rails or Java or .net
Experience working on an ecommerce platform interfaces (Preferred)
Experience with SOA and/or microservices a plus
Experience with distributed enterprise systems, structured engineering, design patterns, and principles of software architecture
Strong problem solving skills, data structures, and algorithms; should be innovative in solving analytical problems
Willingness to travel to the Europe
Fluency in English required, including excellent verbal and written communication skills
