…What will you contribute?
We have a position available for a Development Manager who wants to join our fantastic team in Bangalore. As a Development Manager you will play an important role in helping and guiding the team with stake holder management, product management, collaboration with QA and customer facing. This is senior level technical role. A challenging and critical role for a flagship core banking product of Misys, this offers the ideal candidate opportunity for innovation, growth, recognition and excellence.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Facilitate the adaptation of the technologies, architecture, frameworks, methodologies and other company standards throughout the team; To follow longer term strategies vs. short term delivery expectations
Participate in Architect Board, identify and raise architectural issues that require strong technical consideration
Work closely with the Product Owner and Business Analysts for understanding the product’s functional and non-functional requirements;
Identify, track and manage technical dependencies across various product development teams;
Work together with the Product Owner to ensure that the team has all the pre-requisites to deliver products effectively; and estimates are realistic for given timelines
Ensures that the deliverables meet the defined and expected quality standards, and the team is capable to deliver these qualities
Help developers resolve both technical problems as well as HR issues;
Team development, including:
perform interviews, selection and other recruitment related activities;
assessing and tracking team and individual competencies; identifying training needs;
Monitor and provide feedback on individual employees’ performance;
contribute to the setup and continuous updating of a competency matrix for the team members;
Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate and lead team members to their optimum
Act as a point of contact for the Professional Services teams working on product implementation projects;

Degree and other qualifications
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Must have at least 5 years of experience working through the design, development, release cycle and delivering software products to market
• A record of successful delivery of software applications as an individual, team leader and/or development manager;
• Experience with Scrum methodology and Agile practices
• High command of verbal and written English
