This is a hands-on position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities  Maintain the Database High availability.  Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end. Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems. Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.                                                                                                                                                Education: B.E or Masters degree in computer Science   Experience:   8+ years of experience in IT with minimum of 6+ years of experience as MS SQL DBA. Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools Experience with backups, restores and recovery models. Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server Experience in MongoDB or MySQL is PLUS. Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications: (First list requirements, followed by preferences.)
