We are hiring "Apps DBA Consultants" for Oracle Managed Cloud Services Team.
Detailed Description: As a IT Principal Consultant, you will offer strategic technical support to assure the highest level of customer satisfaction. A primary focus is to create/utilize automated technology and instrumentation to diagnose, document, and resolve/avoid customer issues. You are expected to be an expert member of the technical problem solving/problem avoidance team, routinely sought after to address extremely complex, critical customer issues.
Role:
We are looking for a highly technical individual (IC4 +) to join the OMCS EBSO Implementation/Provisioning team.
Experience of about 8 to 12 years in implementation and trouble-shooting complex EBSO/OTO environments
The analyst must have a wide range of technical skills that include the following:
- Apps DBA - a good understand of the EBSO technology stack for 11i and Release 12.1 and Release 12.2 and Weblogic and experience in various Apps DBA tasks.
- Core Database RDBMS and RAC for all versions between 9i - 12c DBA.
- Experience in Performance Tuning 10g/11g,12c Database, RAC Databases.
- Experience in Backup and Recovery, RMAN
- Worked for implementation and production support customer.
- Experience in Software provisioning Installation, Upgrade of Database, EBSO, Weblogic and Other Oracle Products.
- Supported Database and R12 in unix/linux/solaris platform. Should have knowledge of Linux and Solaris commands.
- Knowledge of Shell Scripting, Should be able to Automate certain DBA tasks.
- Have the ability to 'troubleshoot' and critically analyze problems quickly and effectively.
- Exposure of to the latest version R12.2 & Weblogic.
- Looking for individuals who have excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical discussions to non-technical persons.
They should be able to 'think on their feet' and be able to effectively analyze problems, so good troubleshooting skills is necessary.
- Ready to work in Shift.

- DEMANTRA, GRC, UPK,Endeca, Golden Gate Skills
- Exadata
