In this role, one will be responsible for owning the product solution and enterprise integration of multiple large and complex enterprise grade applications. He/She will lead the solution discussions and technology reviews with global stakeholders including Product Management, Architecture, UX and leads\s the organization in delivering to ensure products meet high quality standards. This key position will work closely with Infrastructure and DevOps teams to plan for capacity of production resources including but not limited to servers, VMs, disk space and retention strategy. This role will collaborate with other senior architects in India and USA. The Application architect will assist in hiring, building, talent and coaching/mentoring of junior architects and tech leads in the team. He/She will participate in key staff meetings and organizational activities.  Skills and Abilities • Able to deep dive into technical solutions and engage peer architects, leads and managers on design and architecture to build lasting solutions that solve business problems • Excellent oral and written, communication and articulation skills. • Ability to solve problems with out of box thinking & approaches, iteratively and incrementally improve both products and processes. • Excellent organizational and leadership skills. • Expertise in Java-J2EE application development with good understanding of OOPs concepts. Java 1.5 + preferable. • Proficient in implementation of well-known design and architectural patterns and UML diagrams • Extensive hands on experience in design and development of J2EE Server side programming, MVC frameworks like Struts, Spring • Able to define and handle Non-Functional requirements including Performance analysis, scalability, serviceability, availability, reliability and capacity planning • Very good knowledge of Web Services using JAX-WS, JAXB as well as RESTful Web Services using Jersey, Spring etc. • Good understanding of Web Technologies â€" JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, CSS. • Experience with Integration frameworks desirable • Strong knowledge of data modeling, relational database, SQL and ORM technology and awareness of NoSQL platforms • Strong aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies if required and apply them in day to day job • Experience in using Build/Release/Continuous Integration tools like Maven/Grunt or Gulp/Git/SVN and Jenkins • Aware of the emerging technologies such as Mobility, Cloud, Big Data, etc. • Perform code reviews, design and solution reviews Experience • 8 to 15 years of experience in architecture, design and engineering of mission critical software products • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (MSEE, MSCS, etc.) from a good university college is a must. • Should have played an end-to-end Architect for a large Enterprise Web Application including design and architecture • Agile software development experience to include TDD, CI and agile project management tools such as Jira, Version 1, Rally Kindly revert if you are interested in the role and we shall get in touch with you asap with the next steps.
