Exposure to 64 Bit systems and windows server 2012/R2, SQL 2014 would be an advantage. Day-to-Day Production DB support and maintenance of MS SQL server 2005 ,2008/R2 , SQL 2012,SQL 2014. Perform Database system optimization and improvement. Ensure Database backup and successful recovery. Resolution of Day to Day Issues as per SLA. Disaster Recovery Planning and execution. Understanding the data loss risk and DB downtime is must. Hands on experience on Database Mirroring in SQL Server 2005/2008/R2 , Always-on in SQL 2012/2014. Hands on experience on SQL server hosted in windows clustering platform . Able to perform RCA Independently on complex Issues . Should be able to work with other infrastructure team like SE,Storage etc and domain knowledge is highly preferable. Will be responsible for identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in relation to CPU, I/O, Memory, and DB Architecture . Experienced with Replication on SQL Server 2005 or SQL Server 2008/R2. Work closely with development team for DB requirements, performance, and integration issues and provide better solutions or approach.. Excellent oral and written communication skills. |
