Job Description:-
Contribute towards installation, configuration and customization of incadea bi application.
Interact with customers and internal/external stakeholders to understand requirements and create solutions. Participate in requirement and technical specification sessions and provides data analysis, data migration and reporting solutions.
Participate in DW/DM and ETL design and development. Ensuring modeling tasks are identified, estimated, designed and developed appropriately.
Participate in BI reports design and development. Ensuring report requirements are understood, estimated, designed and delivered appropriately.
Coordinate the design and development tasks for other team members.
Provide training to internal/external customers
Delivery of detailed task breakdowns for assigned requirements and update relevant information to project managers
Advising on the suitability of methodologies and suggesting improvements
Incorporating best-of-breed data processing and statistical techniques
Supplying qualitative and quantitative data to colleagues & internal/external clients
Liaising with colleagues, partners and 3rd-party suppliers
Skills and Specifications:
Required:
A Techno-Functional BI consultant, well-founded IT / Computer Sciences education with 7+ years of relevant experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft BI technologies
Solid Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2/SQL Server 2012/SQL Server 2014
Profound knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Database Administration (e.g. SQL Server Agent), Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
Extensive experience with SQL/Server T-SQL, DTS/SSIS & Excel
Strong analytical foundation and a demonstrated track record of clear strategic thinking, problem solving, data-driven decisions, and strong business analytics with a process-focused approach.
Microsoft T-SQL proficiency, Microsoft Analysis Services (OLAP), Multidimensional Expressions (MDX), ERP Systems
Good understanding of data warehouse concepts and architecture, including Star Schemas, Cubes and T-Sql performance tuning
Attention to detail & ability to work in a pressurized time sensitive environment
Experience running complex and high volume ETL processes
Exposure to MIS/data warehouse applications
Sound understanding of relational, object and dimensional databases
Ability to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop, evaluate options and decide on solutions
Occasional travel is required
Very good written and verbal communications in English language
Desired:
Previous experience with Automotive business segment (Retailers, OEMs etc.)
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV source applications and integration of dashboards with NAV RTC
Previous experience with cloud BI solutions (preferably Azure)
