Detailed Job Description for a Senior iOS Developer: Department Responsibilities: Responsible for the architecture, design and development of FICO iOS mobile apps and modules, and driving and co-ordinating activities that lead to successful outcomes.  Roles and Responsibilities *Able to architect and design iOS apps and their interaction with outside systems *Hands-on programming iOS apps  *Co-ordinate activities in the iOS subteam and with others in the wider team *Mentor other team members  *Learn and adapt to newer technologies (cross platform, JavaScript etc.)  *Drive evaluation and use of iOS technologies, tools, development and testing processes *Be adaptable to team requirements eg. play the role of tester/reviewer if need arises  Experience and Qualifications : Overall experience of at least 8+ years with at least 6+ years of experience in iOS development  Technical Skills and Abilities:  *Excellent programming skills in Objective C. iPhone/iPad development, XCode, iOS SDK.  *Experience in developing (creating and consuming) libraries and frameworks  *Well versed in interfacing with web services (RESTful, SOAP, JSON, XML)  *Good grasp of network security concepts and implementations *Coding and security best practices *Strong across iOS implementations and ecosystem eg. push notifications, background modes, location services, store/review processes, profiles  *UX and UI  It would be advantageous to have skills and experience in: *Cross platform development and HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript *Swift *Backend system architecture and development  Soft Skills:  Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) Role:   Team Lead/Technical Lead Role Category:   Programming & Design Industry Type:   IT-Software / Software Services Functional Area:   IT Software - Application Programming, Maintenance Keywords:   IOS Developer, Objective C
