7+ years of experience
Job Description:
Create, modify, and maintain operational reports, analytical reports, and dashboards using the Microsoft Business Intelligence suite (SQL Server Reporting Services, Analysis Services, and Integration Services).
Write, maintain, optimize, and reverse engineer stored procedures in SQL 2005, 2008 & 2012
Create SSIS packages to migrate data from different data sources to data warehouse
Enhance and deploy the SSIS Packages from development server to production server
Extract transformed data and load this data into data warehouse
Design dynamic SSIS Packages to transfer data across different platforms
Review and develop data models and database designs with development teams
Convert data using SQL Server 2008 (SSIS)
(Optional)
Participate in .NET/C# application development, as part of a team or individually
Design and build the dimensions and cubes with star schema using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
Generate reports of transactions and services provided using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Technical Skills:
Specific skills
Extensive experience in SQL Server 2008 & 2012
Extensive experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Extensive experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Experience in Data Warehousing and ETL processes, Dynamics Integration
(Optional)
Extensive experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) - preferred
Competent in C# and OOD
Experience in Red Gate Tools Red Gate Tools, Database Analysis, Reporting,
Soft Skills:
Must be able to speak to business partners taking very complex technology and database solutions and communicate in a way where the business will understand
